That's Me Done
Well the election is done and dusted and true to form the majority of people just blindly did as they were told and voted ALP/Liberal. Green preferences gave Government back to the ALP; there will be a price to pay for that!
I suppose it's not their fault, if a Politican does a good job, makes good, rational and just decisions and just gets on with it the Press do not want to know: it doesn;t sell papers! That of course means that the general populace never gets to know either. But that assumes that the Press is "fair and unbiased" .... expecting winged porcine creatures (that's flying pigs) are we?
Oh well cie la vie' I did my bit but what we really needed was money to buy publicity. It is a sad but unfortunate facet of democracy that if people don't know about you then they won't vote for you. And before you ask the Greens DO receive lots of both direct and indirect funding, most of it through your taxes! Groups like the NCC, the TEC, the ELO, the WS, NPA, the EDO etc etc etc receive millions in tax payer funded "grants" but also untold amounts in hidden funding such as training and facilities.
To all those who voted Green just remember that they tried to prevent a citizens petition being presented to the NSW Parliament; no one, in the 1000 year history of Parliamentary democracy, has ever tried to stop the presenting of a citizens petition. And then they opposed the National Parks Volunteers Bill. Not one press outlet covered either of these staggering events.
Look at what they DO not what they SAY!

probably be criminal assault let alone bullying and harassment. THIS IS

Wanted an Example of Green Deception and Manipulation of the Media Then
Here It Is!
The extremist conservation movement
are desperate to deceive the public over the Marine Parks (MPA) issue
because they know they have no science behind them. They have used
every tactic in the book to corrupt the debate but two recent ones
really show them up for the liars they are.
The first involves the complete misuse
of a UN report on international fisheries. Although already well known
the UN reported that some fish stocks
in the deep ocean areas have been over-fished by the large ocean based
commercial fishing industry (esp Orange Roughy, Gemfish, Patagonian
Toothfish and Southern Bluefin Tuna). HOWEVER the proposed
MPAs only extend to the 3 nautical mile limit and will have NO EFFECT
whatsoever on any over-fished species in the deep oceans off the east
coast of Australia and the NCC know this.
The
second involves an NCC concocted "report" called: Empty Oceans, Empty
Nets. This report has been condemned not only by the NSW Fisheries but
also by the by the Minister in charge of the MPAs himself! NSW
Fisheries have officially responded by issuing a statement:
“that no NSW stocks are
under threat, nor in imminent danger of collapse. All stocks are being
harvested sustainably and constantly monitored by the Fisheries
managers.”
In both cases the NCC and its cohorts knew this was deception but
deliberately released this misinformation to the gullible press who
swallowed it "hook, line and sinker" as usual.
But
the mainstream press only ever reported the alarmist rubbish put out by
the NCC and has never reported any follow up articles revealing the
complete falsity of the original claims.
When one journalist was quizzed about
publishing a retraction of the headline: "Commercial
Fishing in Danger" they replied this was now "old news"!
This is not
accidental but is a deliberate ploy because they know the press will
not publish a retraction article: in effect asking a journalist to
admit they were conned!
